Going Green. The Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II now includes a set of factory installed green laser grips. The answer is fairly straightforward as the human eye has the natural ability to see green better than red, making the sight easier to acquire on a target under any light condition. As such, green lasers appear brighter because the human eye is more sensitive to the shorter wavelength of green light than those produced at the red end of the spectrum.

This not only applies to low light, but during bright sunny conditions as well.
